Job summary

Bartlett Tree Experts is seeking an experienced Plant Health Care Specialist in Austin, TX. Join a safety‑focused team dedicated to preserving and caring for trees and shrubs on commercial and residential properties.

You will perform treatments, communicate with clients, and maintain equipment while following safety and regulatory guidelines. Training is provided, and advancement opportunities exist within Bartlett.

Qualifications

• Experience in tree care or horticulture preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to obtain Commercial Pesticide Applicator License; Bartlett pays exam fees and helps you prepare.

Responsibilities

• Perform tree and shrub care treatments using spray, injection, and soil injection tools as prescribed.
• Communicate with clients during site visits.
• Mix and apply pesticides and fertilizers according to diagnosis and safety procedures.
• Maintain and operate equipment and vehicles (hand tools, spray gear, and other machinery).
• Complete accurate daily records and reporting.
• Safely drive a company vehicle between properties.
• Work as part of a tree care crew under the Arborist Crew Leader’s supervision.
• Learn to identify trees and shrubs common to the region.
