Job summary

Monster Tree Service of Eastern Cincinnati is seeking a Tree Climber to join a growing franchise. You will climb, prune and remove trees on residential and commercial properties, using ropes, saddles, and safe climbing techniques.

You’ll maintain tools and equipment, follow ANSI standards, and work as part of a crew supporting the Crew Foreman while delivering excellent customer service. CDL preferred, valid license required, and year-round employment is offered.

• Safely operate hands tools, chainsaws, chippers and climbing gear.
• Knowledge of ANSI standards and safe work practices.

• Operate as part of a crew supporting the Crew Foreman.
• Ensure excellent customer service.
• Experience with rope and saddle, knots, chainsaw and chipper operation.
• Experience with driving non-CDL trucks with trailers is valuable.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

• Responsible for climbing, pruning, and removing trees on residential and commercial properties.
• Properly prepare, maintain and safely operate all tools and equipment including hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and climbing gear.
• Operates as part of a crew supporting the Crew Foreman.
• Ensure excellent customer service.
• Climbing experience utilizing rope and saddle when pruning, knowledge of knots, chainsaw operation, and chipper operation.
• Experience with Aerial Lifts desired.
• Familiarity with ANSI standards.
• Driver's License required with clean driving record, CDL preferred.
• Experience with driving non-CDL trucks with trailers.
• Experience with crew management, training, customer service, and safety procedures is highly valuable.
