Job summary

Moon Valley Nurseries seeks an experienced Tree Climber Foreman to lead a crew delivering expert tree trimming and care services on residential and commercial properties. You will manage climbing operations, coaching staff, and coordinating use of bucket trucks, chainsaws, and rigging systems.

Your responsibilities include directing daily job activities, ensuring safety, organizing work orders, and maintaining high productivity while upholding quality standards.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience climbing and pruning trees.
• Two years’ experience in the landscaping field preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Able to supervise a team on job sites.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Must have mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Direct the team in tree trimming and care services and train staff.
• Plan and organize jobs and resources to ensure sufficient materials are available.
• Maintain safety and enforce company policies and procedures.
• Provide status updates to management on job progress and issues.
• Complete paperwork including time sheets and work orders.
• Perform tree removals with power tools and rigging systems.
