Job summary

Moon Valley Nurseries in Buda, TX is seeking an Experienced Tree Climber Foreman to lead a crew performing tree trimming, removal and care services on residential and commercial properties. Responsibilities include climbing, operating bucket trucks and power tools, and driving to job sites.

You will teach and coach team members, enforce safety and company policies, plan jobs, complete time sheets and work orders, and ensure on-site efficiency with proper equipment usage.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license preferred/required by insurers.
• Clear and effective communication skills.
• Aptitude in basic mathematical skills, job planning and problem solving.
• Mechanical aptitude is a must.

Responsibilities

• Direct the team in tree trimming and care services, including on-site supervision and training.
• Enforce company policies and procedures on the job site.
• Plan and organize jobs and work orders to ensure resources are available.
• Provide management with status updates and issue resolutions.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and equipment.
• Complete work efficiently to meet productivity targets.
• Handle paperwork including time sheets and material requisitions.
• Perform tree removals with power tools and climbing gear.
