Job summary

Joshua Tree Experts in Raleigh, NC is seeking an experienced Tree Climber to join a 2–4 person crew. You will assist in tree removal, pruning and preservation while focusing on safe operations and client communication at the job site.

The role offers paid training, ongoing safety culture, plus opportunities for advancement and a strong work/life balance. Full-time, year-round employment with benefits is provided.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• At least 2 years experience in tree climbing.
• Must be physically able to climb daily.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with crew leader and coworkers to maintain professional image.
• Available to work at least 40 hours per week.
• Provide excellent customer service at job sites.
• Delegate work to Groundman Operations Specialist.
• Maintain vehicle and assigned equipment.
• Follow company safety culture and ANSI standards.
• Understand aerial lift operations.

As a Tree Climber with Joshua Tree Experts you will work alongside a 2 to 4-person tree crew. You will be assisting in tree removal, tree pruning, and general tree preservation techniques. Being a Climber is an extremely important role for Tree Crew. Climbers are responsible for ensuring safe tree operations, maintaining assigned equipment, and communicating with effectively with crew. Climbers play a key role in communicating with clients and public near the job site.

What a Tree Climber does:
