Job summary

SavATree is looking for a General Tree Care Technician in Hillsboro, Oregon. This outdoor role involves working on tree care crews, performing tasks such as pruning and removals while ensuring safety and excellent service.

The ideal candidate will have experience with tree care practices, knowledge of species characteristics, and a desire to work outdoors. Competitive compensation of up to $32/hr based on experience, plus benefits including health, dental, and a 401(K) plan.

What a Day Is Like

Team members work on general tree care crews, prun­ing, removals, cable bracing, and operate equipment safely while providing excellent service.

Qualifications

• Experience with proper pruning practices, including large shade trees and ornamentals.
• Ability to identify native and introduced tree and shrub species and knowledge of their characteristics.
• Ability to climb without spurs.
• Experience with tree care safety standards.
• Practical knowledge of chainsaw and equipment operation.
• Experience with aerial lifts (bucket truck).

Essential Requirements

• Desire to work outdoors.
• Valid U.S. driver's license; CDL a plus.
• Must be authorized to work lawfully in the U.S.
