Job summary

Joshua Tree Experts in Fairfield, CT seeks an experienced Tree Climber to join a 2–4 person crew. You will assist in tree removal, pruning, and preservation, communicating with clients and the crew to ensure safe operations.

Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, upholding safety culture, and providing excellent customer service while following ANSI standards. A valid license and 4+ years of climbing experience are required.

Qualifications

• HSDiploma or GED required.
• At least 4 years of tree climbing experience.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Forestry or Horticulture degree and ISA Arborist certification are pluses.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with crew leader and coworkers effectively.
• Maintain professional image and customer service.
• Delegate work to Groundman Operations Specialist.
• Maintain vehicle and assigned equipment.
• Follow company safety culture and ANSI standards.
• Be available to work at least 40 hours per week.
• Understand aerial lift operations.

As a Tree Climber with Joshua Tree Experts you will work alongside a 2 to 4 person tree crew. You will be assisting in tree removal, tree pruning, and general tree preservation techniques. Being a Climber is an extremely important role for the Tree Crew.

Climber's are responsible for ensuring safe tree operations, maintaining assigned equipment, and communicating with effectively with crew. Climbers play a key role in communicating with clients and public near the job site.

What a Tree Climber does:

• Communicates with crew leader and coworkers effectively


• Maintain professional image


• Provide excellent customer service

• Maintain vehicle and assigned equipment


• Follow company safety culture


• Understand and follow ANSI standards for Tree Care Operations


• Must be available to work at least 40 hours per week


• Understanding of aerial lift operations

What a Tree Climber must have:
