Exciting Opportunity: Join Our Team as a Tree Climber!

First-year Potential: $60k - $80K Potential+ Annual

Schedule: M - F with occasional Saturdays and on rare occasions Sunday

Hours: start to finish job, so depends on last job completed

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid driver's license with an issue date of at least five years prior to the date of this application.
• A minimum of 3 years tree climbing/trimming, using saddle and rope experience required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Experience planning routes, meeting service deadlines, and completing tasks efficiently.
• Dependable and self‑motivated, with a desire to work year‑round.
• Ability to work inside and/or outside for long periods of time, sometimes in extreme temperatures.

What You'll Do

• Complete tree work with a crew and understand customers' expectations and service contracts.
• Prepare equipment and supplies needed for the work day (e.g., trash bags, brooms, rakes, lawn tools, ice).
• Remove specific dead or live trees and cut away branches specified in the sales contract, pruning to maintain and improve tree or shrub health and appearance.
• Complete all contracted work, which may require ground work, canopy work, use of a truck‑mounted lift, or climbing and rigging equipment.
• Haul non‑hazardous waste to a landfill or designated disposal sites.
• Operate and safely use all equipment for refining tree debris, including tub grinders, wood chippers, chainsaws, and other tree trimming tools.
• Use specialized equipment on‑site, reduce waste by chipping or grinding, and prepare it for disposal; manual clearing and removal of debris may be required.
• Be available to work Saturdays when work is not completed during normal workdays.
• Maintain a professional attitude at all times with customers, fellow employees, and supervisors.
