Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer/Climber to join our field team in a full-time, non-exempt role. You will trim and remove trees, operate and maintain cutting equipment, and assist with debris removal while following safety protocols.

The position emphasizes climbing, heavy lifting, and teamwork in outdoor environments, often at elevated heights. A valid driver’s license is preferred and pre-employment screenings may apply.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Able to walk, climb, and work from ladders at various heights.
• No fear of heights.
• Good hand-eye coordination.
• High school diploma preferred.
• Entry-level position; no prior experience required.
• Pre-employment drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Cleans large debris into manageable pieces.
• Sprays areas with equipment to prevent growth.
• Loads/unloads trucks.
• Feeds brush & debris into a woodchipper.
• Repairs minor job-related damage to lawns, fences, and walkways.
• Maintains safety around employees and the public.
