Zielies Tree Service Inc. is looking for Tree Care Professionals to join our crew in the East Dubuque region. We value safety, quality, and environmental stewardship as we maintain powerline right-of-ways and support local communities.

Starting wage ranges from $27.38 to $40.90 per hour, with a comprehensive union benefits package and opportunities for overtime and growth through paid training, PPE and tools provided.

Responsibilities

• Cut and trim using industry best practices
• Use wedges, sledges, and chainsaws to fell trees or trim trunks
• Apply herbicide to control growth per maps
• Load/unload logs, stumps, brush, and debris; feed brush to woodchipper
• Follow best practices to keep others safe on site
• Inspect tools, truck and equipment; request repairs when needed
• Maintain good housekeeping in trucks and work locations
• Commit to working safely every day
• Perform other related work as assigned
