Job summary

Zielies Tree Service Inc., a leader in Vegetation Management Services, is seeking Tree Care Professionals. Join a team devoted to safety, quality, and environmental stewardship while maintaining powerline right-of-ways in local communities.

We offer a starting package of $25–$39 per hour, full-time work, 4x10-hour days, and generous benefits through union plans and direct deposit. Excellent growth opportunities and paid training are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in vegetation management or tree care is preferred.
• Ability to operate and maintain field equipment.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Cut and trim trees using industry best management practices.
• Operate wedges, sledges, and chainsaws to fell trees and cut logs.
• Apply herbicides as indicated on maps to control growth.
• Load/unload trucks with logs and debris; feed brush into a woodchipper.
• Follow BMPs to protect workers and the public from hazards.
• Inspect tools and equipment daily; request repairs when needed.
• Maintain a daily safety commitment.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
