Job summary

Joshua Tree Experts in Denver, CO is seeking an experienced Tree Care Groundsman to join our safety‑driven team. The Groundsman supports a 2 to 4 person crew in removal, pruning, stump grinding and chipper operations while maintaining clear communication with crew members and the public.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two year experience in Tree Care Operations.
• Valid driver's license.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Ability to work 40 hours or more each week.
• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds.
• Willingness to work in adverse weather conditions.
• Excellent ability to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist crew with equipment and vehicle preparation daily.
• Ensure that drop zones are safe for coworkers and public.
• Perform pruning and reducing.
• Safely use tree care operations equipment including gas powered saws, pole saws/clips, and chippers.
• Load and unload trucks and chippers with logs, brush and debris.
• Reports to work on time each day.
• Follow directions from crew leaders and climbers.
• Maintain professional image.
• Provide friendly and excellent customer service.
• Maintain and service equipment, as needed.
• Follows safety culture and safety procedures.
• Set up safety and traffic control measures for job sites.
