Job summary

Cultivar Group in Roseville, CA is seeking a Tree Care Groundman to support the crew with daily operations, including site cleanup, equipment handling, and assisting with pruning and removal tasks. This entry-level role offers learning opportunities and room to advance in the tree care industry.

You will work outdoors on commercial sites, follow safety protocols, and gain hands-on experience with pruning techniques, tool prep, and equipment operation.

Qualifications

• Strong observation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members, managers, and customers.
• Basic reading and writing proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist Trimmers and Foreman during daily operations.
• Control lowering ropes and supply tools to tree workers.
• Maintain clean and organized job sites.
• Learn proper pruning and tree removal techniques and safe equipment operation.
• Wear and use PPE as required.
• Work five consecutive 8-hour days with occasional overtime.
