Job summary

Crystal Greens Landscape in Portland, OR seeks experienced Tree Care Climbers for our commercial crews. This hands-on climbing role requires expert arborist skills, safe rigging, precise pruning, and a commitment to safety at height on job sites.

Reporting to the Tree Care Foreman, you will perform climbing operations, assist with rigging and ground support, operate equipment, and help maintain tools and gear.

Qualifications

• 2 years tree climbing experience or equivalent training.
• Strong knowledge of safe climbing techniques and rigging.
• PNW tree species knowledge helpful.

Responsibilities

• Climb trees using rope-and-saddle or SRT/DRS systems for pruning, cabling, and removal per ANSI A300.
• Perform proper pruning cuts and safe rigging on large trees.
• Operate aerial lifts and other equipment as needed.
• Maintain tools and climbing gear in good condition.
• Deliver safe, high-quality service to commercial properties.
