Job summary

SavATree is seeking a Groundsperson/CDL Driver to work on our Tree Care Team. The role involves outdoor work on pruning, removals, and related tree care tasks across client properties, with daily reporting to the Charleston, SC office. CDL and chainsaw experience are required, with full benefits and PTO available.

Qualifications

• Experience pruning large shade trees and ornamentals.
• Identify native and introduced tree/shrub species and their characteristics.
• Experience with tree care safety standards.
• Practical knowledge of chainsaw and equipment operation.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s license, CDL required.
• Experience with aerial lifts (bucket truck).
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Prune, remove, and cable-brace trees for client properties.
• Operate and maintain tree care equipment safely.
• Collaborate with the General Tree Care crew to deliver high-quality service.
• Transport equipment to job sites and report to the Charleston, SC office.
