OPCO Skilled Management is seeking an energetic Woundcare Nurse to oversee comprehensive skin management for residents in a long-term care setting. The RN/LVN will assess, plan, and deliver safe wound care, while coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to optimize healing and minimize complications.
The role requires a licensed LPN/LVN in the applicable state and at least 1 year of specialized wound care in a long-term care environment, with BLS/CPR certification.

The Woundcare/Treatment Nurse RN/LVN will be responsible for the center’s general application of the skin management program. Responsible for delivering safe, efficient and effective treatment to heal various types of wounds, including surgical openings, ulcers, bed sores, feeding tube sites, and abscesses. Required to assess wounds, create and implement treatment plans, monitor infections and signs of various infections, and clean wounds. Operates within the scope of practice defined by the state Nurse Practice Act.
