Job summary

AWARE Inc. in Stevensville, MT is hiring a Treatment Service Specialist to provide direct services to children with special needs in school settings. You will collaborate with parents, teachers and school staff to develop and implement individualized plans and to communicate observations to the treatment team.

The role uses a wrap-around approach to support the child's success across school and home environments. Strong interpersonal and computer skills, plus a HS diploma or higher, are required.

Qualifications

• BS/BA preferred; equivalency considered based on work history and education.
• Must be able to navigate, record, and use performance-based software and an electronic medical records system.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication; able to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
• High School Diploma or HSE required.

Treatment Service Specialist - $21.00 - $26.08 per hour to start

Responsibilities

• Provide direct services to children with special needs in the school setting.

Requirements

Talents, skills, and abilities

• A BS/BA Degree in a Human Services Related Field is preferred; an equivalency can be used based on documented work history, education, and volunteer experience.
• Requires computer literacy skills, including the ability to navigate, record, and overall basic computer skills needed for performance-based software as well as an electronic medical records system.
• The Specialist must have the interpersonal oral and written communications skills to work as a team member, to make observations and to report them accurately, to learn resident care methods, and to follow oral and written instructions.
• High School Diploma or HSE is required, along with past employment experience.
• Must have, or be willing to obtain, a valid Montana Driver’s License and have an acceptable driving record.
• Must have an acceptable criminal and protective services background check.
