AWARE is seeking a Treatment Service Specialist in Darby, MT. Full-time role with starting pay $21.00–$26.08 per hour.

The specialist will provide direct services to children with special needs in school settings and collaborate with parents, teachers, and school personnel to implement individualized plans. The position emphasizes team-based observation reporting, a wrap-around approach to support child success across school and home, and development of coping and living skills for youth.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in a Human Services Related Field preferred; equivalency considered.
• Computer literacy and basic software/EMR proficiency.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication; team player.
• High School Diploma or HSE required; prior employment experience.
• Valid Montana driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Clean criminal and protective services background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct services to children with special needs in the school setting.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and school personnel to develop and implement individualized plans.
• Communicate behavioral and emotional observations to the treatment team and participate in team-building meetings.
• Utilize a wrap-around approach to ensure the child's success in school and home settings.
• Assist youth in developing coping, social/recreational, independent living, mediation and conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

Talents, skills, and abilities:

• A BS/BA Degree in a Human Services Related Field is preferred; an equivalency can be used based on documented work history, education, and volunteer experience.
• Requires computer literacy skills, including the ability to navigate, record, and overall basic computer skills needed for performance-based software as well as an electronic medical records system.
• The Specialist must have the interpersonal oral and written communications skills to work as a team member, to make observations and to report them accurately, to learn resident care methods, and to follow oral and written instructions.
• High School Diploma or HSE is required, along with past employment experience.
• Must have, or be willing to obtain, a valid Montana Driver’s License and have an acceptable driving record.
• Must have an acceptable criminal and protective services background check.
