Job summary

The START Center for Cancer Care in San Antonio, TX seeks a compassionate Treatment Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Oncology Infusion Team, delivering life-changing chemotherapy and infusion services to patients.

You will assess patients, administer therapies, educate families, and collaborate with the care team to maintain the highest standards of oncology care in a patient-centered environment. Texas RN licensure required; oncology infusion experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Texas RN License or Compact license eligible.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities.
• Experience in oncology infusion preferred.
• Oncology/Biotherapy Certification is a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapies, biologics, and supportive infusion treatments safely and effectively.
• Perform patient assessments, review laboratory results, and evaluate treatment readiness.
• Monitor patients during infusions and respond to adverse reactions or complications.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatments, side effects, symptom management, and self-care strategies.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to deliver the highest standard of oncology care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with oncology safety standards and protocols.

What You'll Do

As a Treatment RN, You Will
