This position requires significant field engagement, technical aptitude, and the ability to manage complex project scopes from pre-bid design through delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesProject & Scope ManagementManage project workloads for Treatment plant and critical infrastructure projects.Present customer‑provided material lists and complete bill‑of‑material packages.Coordinate multi‑stage shipments to align with construction schedules utilizing project management team.Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and execution throughout each project lifecycle.Technical Expertise & Solution SupportApply strong knowledge of water, wastewater, and civil/mechanical processes.Support customers with product recommendations, technical clarifications, and system‑level solutions.Maintain expertise in core product categories:PVF (pipe, valves, fittings)HDPE and fusion equipmentOperators, actuators, and related plant componentsQuotation & Drafting CollaborationPartner with internal quotation, estimating and pre-bid manager teams:Plant‑specific scopesDetailed infrastructure material takeoffsDesign‑build support packagesEnsure customers receive accurate, comprehensive, and timely proposals.Business Development & Market ExpansionIdentify new opportunities across water , wastewater, and municipal ecosystems.Develop relationships with engineering firms, public agencies, and major developers.Attend industry events, associations, and trade shows to expand presence and pipeline.Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities within the region.Customer Relationship ManagementServe as the primary point of contact for plant‑related and infrastructure accounts.Maintain deep, consultative relationships that drive long‑term loyalty.Act as a trusted resource for technical guidance, product sourcing, and project planning.Preferred Qualifications4+ years of industry‑related outside sales experience (waterworks, civil, mechanical, or distribution).Experience supporting large infrastructure or plant environments (water/wastewater treatment and industrial civil projects).Strong technical aptitude: engineering background (especially civil) is a plus.Ability to read and interpret plans, specs, material lists, and engineered designs.Demonstrated ability to manage complex scopes and multi‑phase projects.Seeking someone with a strong determination to be a successful outside sales representative.Environmental Job RequirementsTypically, in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noises, and fumes, which may cause noticeable discomfort.Typically requires overnight travel more than 50% of the time.This information indicates the general nature and level of work performed by associates in this role.
