Job summary

Baywood Post-Acute is seeking a skilled Treatment Nurse with wound care experience in California. The role accepts both RNs and LVNs licensed in CA, focusing on wound assessments, dressing changes, and coordinating care with physicians and the nursing team.

The successful candidate will monitor healing, document progress, and uphold infection control standards in a supportive, resident-centered environment.

Qualifications

• CA RN or LVN license required.
• Experience in Treatment/Nurse wound care preferred.
• Hands-on wound care, dressing changes and skin integrity management.

Baywood Post-Acute is looking for a skilled and compassionate Treatment Nurse with experience in wound care to join our team! We welcome both RNs and LVNs who are passionate about providing quality resident care and supporting positive health outcomes.

Responsibilities

Perform wound assessments, dressing changes, and prescribed treatments.

Monitor wound healing and identify signs of infection or complications.

Maintain accurate documentation of treatments and residents' progress.

Follow infection control protocols and wound care standards.

Collaborate with physicians and the nursing team to provide effective resident care.

Monitor skin integrity and help prevent pressure injuries.

Qualifications

Current and valid California RN or LVN license.

Previous experience as a Treatment Nurse or Wound Care Nurse preferred.

Hands-on experience with wound care, dressing changes, and skin integrity management.

Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills.

Skilled nursing or long-term care experience is a plus.
