Job summary

Capital One's Treasury Systems & Business Solutions team seeks a Manager for Capital Markets & Risk to lead agile pods delivering cloud-based solutions. You will ground problems with customer interviews, conduct impact analysis, and guide data changes to support risk management and execution within Treasury.

The role requires strong capital markets knowledge, experience with Murex or similar derivatives workflows, and collaboration across internal partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or military experience
• At least 4 years of experience working in a business system analysis role
• At least 5 years of experience with Capital Markets, Derivative workflow (such as Murex or Calypso)

Responsibilities

• Define solutions (requirements, designs, services, recommendations) to business/systems problems
• Liaison between tech and business SMEs to translate business requirements into highly specified project briefs
• Prepare systems analysis documentation/specifications
• Identify roadblocks to projected timeline and present possible solutions
• Ensure solution integrity through user acceptance testing (UAT) and finalize disposition of solution for business as usual (BAU) acceptance
• Responsible for the development, maintenance, management, and delivery of technical information or documentation
• Own the design of configuration changes needed within Treasury’s Derivative system Murex
• Manage inter-team and technology dependencies to mitigate project and product risks
• Support the Product Owner with prioritization, road map development, and test coordination
