DebtBook is seeking a Customer Support Associate to help public sector clients succeed with our treasury platform. You will respond to inquiries via live chat and email, troubleshoot issues, and become a product expert.

You’ll train users, collaborate with data and product teams to resolve problems, and create self-help materials. The role rewards curiosity, analytical thinking, and a customer-focused mindset in a fast-moving startup.

Qualifications

• Experience in a people-focused, customer service role; software product support preferred.
• Proficient in Excel formulas and functions.
• Data manipulation and analysis in Excel required.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional written communication skills.
• Empathetic, positive attitude with client success focus.
• Highly organized with accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Respond to client inquiries via live chat and email.
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer challenges.
• Become a DebtBook product expert and provide training as needed.
• Collaborate with data, product and development teams to resolve issues.
• Create or update FAQs, user guides, and self-service articles.
• Engage with clients post-implementation to ensure success.
