Qualifications

• 2+ years in accounting, treasury, or finance operations.
• Experience with money movement, cash management, or treasury operations.
• Strong accounting fundamentals and high attention to detail.
• Experience with high transaction volumes; Salesforce preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Monitor bank accounts and daily cash positions and manage money movement, including funding, repayments, and transfers.
• Set up and manage repayments in Salesforce, including adjustments and refunds.
• Maintain accurate investment, participation, and transaction records.
• Process scheduled payments, commissions, and company invoices.
• Perform bookkeeping and bank reconciliations across multiple accounts and prepare supporting information for external accountants.
• Track corporate expenses, credit card activity, and other liabilities.
• Maintain and improve weekly and monthly financial reports and trackers.
• Support recurring finance, operations, compliance, and regulatory deadlines, including licensing and NMLS reporting.
• Assist with annual 1099 preparation and provide backup support to processing and operations teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting, and controls.

About the Role

The Treasury & Operations Associate will support the day-to-day financial operations of a growing specialty finance organization. This is a hands-on role for an early-career finance professional with experience in money movement, treasury, accounting, and financial systems.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, proactive, and eager to take ownership. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with leadership and take on increasing responsibility as you grow into a broader finance role.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor bank accounts and daily cash positions and manage money movement, including transaction funding, repayments, and transfers
• Set up and manage repayments in Salesforce, including adjustments and refunds

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of experience in accounting, treasury, finance operations, bookkeeping, or a related field
• Experience with money movement, cash management, or treasury operations
• Strong accounting fundamentals and exceptional attention to detail
• Experience handling high transaction volumes accurately
• Salesforce experience strongly preferred; strong Excel skills required
• Highly organized with strong follow-through and the ability to manage recurring deadlines
• Proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Curiosity and eagerness to learn, grow, and take on increasing responsibility

Preferred Background

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
• Experience in specialty finance, lending, financial services, or a similar transaction-oriented environment
• Familiarity with financial reporting, reconciliations, or regulatory processes
