Job summary

JPMorganChase seeks a Vice President to lead the design and continuous improvement of the Corporate Treasury Middle Office control environment. You will guide governance, risk, and control activities across global teams, partnering with internal audit, risk, and strategy colleagues to ensure effective remediation and ongoing control maturity.

You will oversee governance routines, metrics, and escalation protocols, communicating complex issues to senior leaders and aligning diverse stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 years of experience in financial services with controls and/or operational risk management.
• 2 years of people leadership experience across geographies and time zones.
• Experience in a highly regulated environment with shifting priorities and tight timelines.
• Proven ability to lead execution across multiple deliverables and close work.
• Proven ability to perform control design and operating effectiveness assessments.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, and continuous improvement of a comprehensive control environment for Corporate Treasury Middle Office.
• Partner with internal audit, risk and control partners, and business leads to meet control requirements.
• Coordinate responses to regulatory examinations and information requests in partnership with strategy and risk teams.
• Oversee action plans for documented control gaps and remediation.
• Design and maintain streamlined operating models and controls across global teams and risk disciplines.
• Establish governance routines and dashboards to promote transparency and accountability.
• Communicate complex issues to senior leaders with clear trade-offs and recommendations.
• Lead and develop a cross-location team with clear objectives and timely delivery.
• Evaluate controls across liquidity, capital, and structural interest rate risk processes.
