Qualifications

Job description

We are working with a leading Houston-based energy business who are looking for a Treasury Manager to join their finance team.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced treasury professional who enjoys a broad, commercially focused role with exposure to liquidity management, risk, banking relationships and strategic finance projects.

Responsibilities Include:

• Leading day-to-day treasury operations, liquidity management and cash forecasting
• Managing banking relationships, counterparty credit risk and treasury controls
• Overseeing the company's hedging activities and financial risk management
• Supporting financing, capital allocation and broader strategic initiatives
• Leading treasury-related systems, process and technology improvements
• Providing treasury analysis and decision support to senior leadership
• Managing and developing a small treasury team

The ideal candidate will ideally possess:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field
• Significant corporate treasury experience, ideally within energy, natural resources or another capital-intensive industry
• Strong experience across liquidity, cash management, banking and financial risk
• Experience managing or mentoring a treasury team
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills
• A hands-on and commercially minded approach

Salary: $160,000–$185,000 + bonus
