Job summary

SouthState Bank is seeking a Treasury Management professional to support business clients, educate stakeholders, and help expand TM services. You will collaborate with sales officers, onboard new TM clients, and back up leadership as needed.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in banking with Treasury Management exposure, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to business relationships. On-site role in Austin with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 5+ years in banking; Treasury Management sales / product / support, line banker, commercial call center.
• Certifications/Knowledge: Excellent written/oral communications; problem analysis and resolution; attention to detail; multitasking; ability to build rapport with clients and partners.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain extensive knowledge of Treasury Management products, services, and pricing.
• Understand the application of Treasury Management products to business cash flow cycles.
• Lead fraud discussion with clients and educate options after fraud occurs.
• Call jointly with Treasury Management Sales Officer to build relationships and follow-up.
• Primary back up for Treasury Management Sales Officer in their absence.
• Contribute to revenue by adding accounts or services to existing relationships.
• Prepare onboarding paperwork for new TM clients and to add TM services.
• Educate retail bankers to identify TM leads.
• Develop expertise in the Treasury Management small business platform.
• Educate bankers about client situations and opportunities.
• Provide SME to internal staff and assist TM projects (e.g., pricing).
