Job summary

First Bank & Trust Co. is seeking a Treasury Management Sales Officer to expand the Bank's cash management portfolio for commercial, municipal, nonprofit, and business clients.

You will serve as the primary contact for Treasury Management sales, consult on operational efficiencies, and collaborate with banking teams to deliver exceptional service. You will develop new business relationships, assess customer needs, present proposals, and drive revenue while educating clients on fraud prevention

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of banking experience.
• Treasury Management or Commercial Banking experience preferred.
• Strong sales and relationship management skills.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Knowledge of ACH, wires, business online banking, and cash management products.
• Ability to travel within the Bank's market area.

Responsibilities

• Develop new Treasury Management business relationships through referrals, prospecting, and calling efforts.
• Partner with Commercial Lenders and Business Bankers to identify treasury opportunities.
• Conduct business needs assessments and recommend treasury management solutions.
• Prepare and present Treasury Management proposals.
• Meet established sales, revenue, and product penetration goals.
• Serve as the primary Treasury Management contact for business customers.
• Conduct customer calls and annual Treasury Management relationship reviews.
• Maintain ongoing communication regarding new products and services.
• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve complex service issues.
• Educate customers on fraud prevention and payment security.

Job Summary: The Treasury Management Sales Officer is responsible for developing, managing, and expanding the Bank's Treasury Management portfolio by identifying opportunities to provide cash management solutions to commercial, municipal, nonprofit, and business customers.
