Job summary

Busey Bank is seeking a Treasury Management Sales Analyst to join our Fort Worth team. You will collaborate with the sales group to manage TM opportunities, implementations and ongoing account maintenance.

The role may involve qualifying small business referrals and guiding them from proposal to implementation. You will articulate complex TM solutions, support pricing and proposals, and ensure timely, accurate deployments while maintaining excellent client relationships and staying current on

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Treasury Management disciplines and related solution sets.
  • Electronic business banking platforms and other financial services.
  • Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years banking experience; Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

  • Attend sales calls as needed.
  • Coordinate product demonstrations for clients and prospects.
  • Assist in preparing pricing/profitability models, proposals and RFPs.
  • Prepare and manage follow-up from annual Treasury Management client reviews.
  • Gather data and docs for new client implementations.
  • Monitor implementation status to ensure timely setups.
  • Maintain client and CRM data; kick off TM workflows.
  • Qualify referrals and lead proposals to implementation.
  • Explain complex solutions clearly to clients; suggest products to reduce risk.
  • Act as SME for client questions and service issues.
  • Interact with clients and vendors with high service standards.
  • Stay current with Treasury Management products and regulations.
  • Complete assignments professionally and prioritize work.
  • Build trusted relationships with associates, clients, and vendors.
  • Represent Busey Bank in a professional manner.
  • Maintain confidentiality and compliance.

Job description

Position Summary

The Treasury Management Sales Analyst works with clients and Busey Associates as a vital member of the sales team to coordinate Treasury Management sales opportunities, implementations and account maintenance. Additionally, the TM Analyst may work small business referrals to qualify, advance, propose and sell implement TM services.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Attend sales calls, upon request, from other Commercial and Treasury Management Associates
  • Coordinate and conduct product demonstrations for clients and prospects.
  • Assist in preparing treasury and commercial card pricing/profitability models, proposals and RFPs, presentations and payment cycle reviews.
  • Prepare, attend and manage follow-up from annual Treasury Management client reviews.
  • Gather data, processing instructions, documentation and other information required to facilitate new client Treasury Management implementations.
  • Monitor the status of active implementations to ensure setups are completed on time and accurately in accordance with client expectations.
  • Maintain a high level of communication with clients and internal partners during the sales and implementation process.
  • Maintain client data in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, including kicking off the Treasury Management workflow for new product implementations.
  • May serve as the main point of contact on Retail-generated small business referrals; make contact with the client to qualify referrals and lead the process from proposal to implementation.
  • Clearly and accurately communicate complex solutions to clients; suggest products and services that increase efficiency and/or reduce risk of fraud.
  • Act as subject matter expert for complex client questions and/or service issues.
  • Interact with internal and external clients while providing extraordinary service.
  • Remain current with all Treasury Management products and services as well as regulatory requirements and understand the impact to the Treasury Management function, products and services, new and existing.
  • Complete job assignments in a professional, timely and efficient manner; organize and prioritize work; utilize appropriate technology and service tools for tracking internal and external requests.
  • Develop and maintain trusted, positive relationships with other Associates, clients and vendors.
  • Represent Busey Bank and the Treasury Management team in a highly professional manner.
  • Maintain confidentiality; adhere to Busey Bank policies and procedures; comply with laws, regulations and industry best practices.
Education & Experience
  • Knowledge of:
    • Strong oral and written communication skills
    • Treasury Management disciplines and related solution sets
    • Electronic business banking platforms and other financial services
  • Ability to:
    • Multi-task and work independently
    • Results oriented with excellent execution and closing capabilities
    • Perform duties under frequent time pressures; travel as needed (40%)
    • Solve problems independently while applying logic and discretion
  • Education and Training:
    • Requires Bachelor’s degree with emphasis on Finance or Business or previous banking and sales experience.
    • 2+ years of banking experience; Treasury Management and/or payment technology sales preferred.
    • Requires knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Compensation And Benefits

Salary offered is based on factors, including but not limited to, the job duties, required qualifications and relevant experience, and local market trends. The role may be eligible for bonus or incentives based on company and individual performance.

(Base Pay Range: $58,000 - $72,200/yr)
