Job summary

First Financial Bank is seeking a Treasury Management Advisor III to provide expert guidance on treasury solutions, analyze client cash flow, and collaborate with relationship managers to design programs that optimize liquidity and reduce risk.

The role focuses on developing new client relationships, retaining existing ones, supporting growth in deposits and fees, and conducting risk reviews for ACH, card, and RDC services. Travel within the market is required.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Treasury Management experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Certified Treasury Professional Certification (CTP) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new client relationships through Bank Partner introductions and self-sourcing.
  • Retain identified clients by building strong relationships and reviewing client needs to grow revenue.
  • Generate organic growth in deposits and fee income through thoughtful treasury solutions.
  • Review and service client portfolios including Working Capital Analysis and collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Review portfolio profitability and manage exception pricing and account structures.
  • Complete risk management reviews for ACH, Credit Card, and RDC services.
  • Introduce clients to other service lines and attend training sessions.

The Treasury Management Advisor III is responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to clients regarding their treasury management needs. The incumbent will analyze client financial data, identify opportunities for improvement, and recommend appropriate treasury management solutions to optimize cash flow, mitigate risk, and enhance operational efficiency. They collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as relationship managers and product specialists, to develop and implement customized treasury management strategies for clients.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities
  • Develop new client relationships by both Bank Partner introductions and directly self-sourced.
  • Retain identified clients through development of strong relationships, responsible for consistent review of client needs while strengthening Bank’s revenue opportunities.
  • Generate organic growth in both deposits and fee income through thoughtful solutions minded direction to achieve stated annual goals.
  • Review, service and maintain client portfolio including Working Capital Analysis of client relationships along with other internal stakeholders.
  • Review Portfolio profitability; manage all exception pricing and account structure to minimize Bank’s non-standard adjustments.
  • Complete Risk Management reviews for ACH, Credit Card, and RDC Services.
  • Introduce customers to other service related lines of business.
  • Attend all Bank sourced training and instruction sessions as applicable to Treasury Management
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Needed to Perform Essential Functions of the Job
  • 5 years of Treasury Management experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred Knowledge and Skills
  • Certified Treasury Professional Certification ("CTP")
  • Level of Complexity and Scope: Understands and regularly works on complex issues that requires in-depth evaluations of variable factors.
  • Degree of Independence and Decision-Making: Performs work with limited supervision and applies guidelines with proficiency.
Required Supervisory Responsibilities
  • No direct supervisory responsibilities
  • May help guide/mentor lower level Treasury Management Advisors
Physical Requirements
  • Frequently lifts and carries up to 10 lbs.
  • Ability to regularly travel within assigned market to meet with clients and internal partners.
  • Ability to travel outside of market as needed.
Compliance Statement

The associate is responsible for meeting all compliance requirements imposed on First Financial Bank by State and Federal law and regulation, as well as all related First Financial Bank policies and procedures. This includes all Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, OFAC and Suspicious Activity reporting requirements, as well as all other lending and deposit compliance requirements.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $94,000/year to $112,000/year
