Job summary

Columbia Housing Authority is seeking a detail-oriented Treasury Analyst to join the Finance team in Columbia, SC. This role manages daily treasury and cash management activities, including banking transactions, cash receipts, disbursements, reconciliations, and treasury reporting to support agency operations.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and at least two years of related experience, with strong knowledge of GAAP, cash management, and bank

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• Minimum of two years of related experience or an equivalent combination.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and governmental financial reporting.
• Experience with cash management and bank reconciliations.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook; familiarity with accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily treasury and cash management activities.
• Record and reconcile banking transactions and related journal entries.
• Process wire transfers, ACH payments, and other electronic banking transactions.
• Reconcile daily activity to the general ledger and prepare monthly reconciliations.
• Monitor cash balances and prepare cash position reports.
• Assist with cash flow forecasting and HUD cash management tasks.
• Prepare and distribute cash management documentation and reports.
