Job summary

Riot Games is seeking a Treasury and Risk Manager to expand the Treasury function for its Korea publishing operation. You will oversee cash management, payments, and cross-border treasury activities, advising on funding and cash optimization to support Riot’s growth.

Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Treasury, you will collaborate with Accounting, Tax, Legal and Sourcing teams, manage FX and intercompany settlements, and help implement new procedures for sustained expansion in Korea.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of international treasury experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Experience in a multinational company.
• Knowledge of payment systems: SWIFT, GIRO, RTP.
• Experience with integrated Treasury Management Systems (TMS).
• Excellent communication skills; business level English.
• Strong analytical and modeling capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily cash operations and manage capital structure across Korean entities.
• Modernize bank account structures and manage regional bank relationships; implement automated payments for AP/Payroll.
• Prepare regional cash forecasts and analyze trends and variances.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Tax and Legal on regulatory impacts; manage bank documentation and KYC; support audit and finance teams.
• Manage intercompany settlements for Korea publisher; execute FX and hedging opportunities.
• Initiate and align with Central team on the annual Dividend program.
• Oversee short-term cash investments and ensure compliance with investment guidelines.
• Manage insurance programs and local credit card programs in Korea.

As a Treasury and Risk Manager on the Treasury team, you will help expand the Treasury function for our Korea publishing operation, evolving the cash management and payment operations. As a Treasury professional sitting on the local Enterprise team, you will be the senior treasury professional that oversees all cash management operations, including cash investments in Korea. You will have demonstrated experience with cross-border treasury operations and handling foreign currency transactions. You will make immediate important decisions regarding funding, optimization of cash balances, and establish Riot’s investment in Korea. Your work will help develop and implement new procedures for the sustainability of Riot’s growth.

You will report to Sr. Manager, Treasury of the team.

Responsibilities:

• Execute daily hands-on cash operations (cash forecasting, bank procedures, account reconciliations); Manage the capital structure across Korean entities
• Modernize the integrated bank account structure across the Korea publisher; Manage Riot’s bank relationships in the region with integrity and professionalism, including asset managers and commercial bankers; Work with Riot’s local and international cash management banks to create automated payment structures for Accounts Payable and Payroll operations
• Prepare regional cash forecasts, working across the Korea publisher to obtain and analyze cash trends and forecast variances
• Partner with Accounting, Tax, and Legal to manage accounting, tax, and regulatory impacts of treasury activities (Mark to Market impacts, local regulations, etc.) ; Manage the bank account documentation; coordinate with Legal on bank resolutions with authorization levels, and manage the bank KYC process for legal compliance; Support Strategic Finance and Strategic Sourcing Teams with financial analysis and contract negotiations; Support Riot’s accounting group on all financial reporting matters and Riot’s annual audit locally, including reconciliation of local cash accounts and coordinating local audit requirements with local banks
• Manage the Intercompany settlement process for Korea publisher; Execute FX transactions across Korea publisher and identify opportunities for strategic ST hedging of cash flows and balance sheet exposure
• Initiate and align with Central team on annual Dividend program
• Manage short term cash investments and ensure daily compliance with investment guidelines
• Manage Riot’s insurance programs in Korea; ensure compliance with all policy subjectivities and local compulsory requirements; Implement and manage local Credit Card programs

Required Qualifications/Skills:

• Minimum of 8 years of International Treasury experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting
• Experience in a multinational companyKnowledge of payment systems, including SWIFT, GIRO, Real Time Payments (RTP)
• Experience with integrated Treasury Management Systems (TMS)
• Excellent communication skills; business level English required (verbal and written)
• Strong analytical skills, including advanced spreadsheet and modeling capabilities

• MBA, Finance or other related master degree.
