Job summary

Hampton Lumber in Portland, Oregon is seeking a Treasury Analyst to manage daily cash management for the company and its subsidiaries, both U.S. and Canadian.

The role reports to the Assistant Treasurer and supports retirement plans, risk management, and insurance programs. The ideal candidate will have a finance or accounting background, 1–3 years of experience, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, preferably with an Accounting or Finance emphasis.
• 1-3 years of accounting or finance experience preferred, ideally in manufacturing or with treasury exposure; recent grads encouraged.
• Familiarity with defined contribution plan concepts is a plus.
• Experience with foreign currency hedging concepts and strategies.
• Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily cash management across domestic and Canadian subsidiaries.
• Monitor foreign currency hedge portfolio and coordinate with Treasurer.
• Support relationships with banking and insurance partners.
• Lead treasury improvement projects (electronic payments, FinTech opportunities).
• Support fiduciary responsibilities for employee benefit plans.
• Assist with risk management and insurance programs, including policy renewals and certificates.
