Job summary

Ranger Energy Services in Houston, TX seeks a Treasury Analyst to support liquidity, banking, debt compliance, cash forecasting, and card programs. You will work with AR, AP, Accounting, FP&A, and Operations to understand receipts and spending and to develop rolling cash forecasts.

Two years of relevant experience and strong analytical, communication, and proactive skills are required for increasing responsibility in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in relevant field.
• Two years of treasury, corporate finance, accounting, or banking experience.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Experience with Power Query/Power BI; exposure to SOX controls.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily cash positions across bank accounts and entities, coordinate transfers, wires, and ACH payments.
• Support bank account openings/closures, signer and KYC documentation, bank service requests, fee analysis, and payment research; assist Accounting with reconciliations.
• Prepare and refresh the 13-week cash forecast, monthly cash outlook, and quarterly projections using documented assumptions.
• Collaborate with AR and Operations to validate collection dates, investigate overdue balances, and track follow-up actions affecting cash timing.
• Gather payroll, vendor, tax, capex, and other forecasts; analyze actual cash flows and explain variances.
• Maintain debt, interest, fee, and reporting schedules; prepare covenant calculations and borrowing base reports.
• Coordinate ad hoc spending requests; validate documentation and track payments with AP and Operations.
• Maintain treasury files, support audits/SOX; improve recurring reports and Excel workflows.
• Administer card issuance, replacements, cancellations, and access; resolve cardholder issues with HR/Operations.
• Monitor transactions and fuel usage for exceptions; support statement reconciliation and include card settlements in forecasts.
