About The Role

The Treasury Accounting team is responsible for the accurate accounting, reporting, and control environment for CoreWeave’s treasury-related activities, including debt, OEM and vendor financing arrangements, derivative instruments, and hedging programs. As the Treasury Accounting Manager, you will operationalize the accounting for CoreWeave’s growing derivatives and hedging portfolio, including interest rate swaps, foreign exchange hedges, cross-currency swaps, and power hedges. Reporting to the Director of Treasury Accounting, with a dotted-line reporting relationship to the Senior Manager, Treasury Accounting, you will own the day‑to‑day accounting and operational execution of derivative and hedging activities. You will partner closely with Treasury, Energy Management, and other cross‑functional teams to ensure new transactions are incorporated into accounting and close processes timely and accurately. You will maintain appropriate documentation and supporting information, complete ongoing hedge accounting requirements, and help coordinate recurring activities across Treasury and Treasury Accounting. Beyond derivatives, you will help drive the broader operating rhythm of the Treasury Accounting team. This includes coordinating monthly and quarterly deliverables, preparing flux analyses and financial close materials, supporting financial instrument disclosures, and helping build scalable processes as CoreWeave continues to grow. This role requires a strong sense of ownership, sound judgment, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to obtaining information and driving deliverables to completion.

What You’ll Do
  • Manage the day‑to‑day accounting and operational execution for derivative and hedging transactions, including interest rate swaps, FX forwards and other foreign currency hedges, cross‑currency swaps, and power hedges.
  • Coordinate with Treasury to understand newly executed derivative transactions and ensure they are incorporated into accounting, reporting, and control processes timely and accurately.
  • Prepare and review monthly and quarterly journal entries, account reconciliations, rollforwards, and other supporting schedules related to derivative and hedging activities.
  • Obtain, organize, and maintain trade confirmations, valuation reports, settlement information, counterparty statements, and other supporting documentation for derivative transactions.
  • Prepare and maintain hedge designation documentation and other contemporaneous hedge accounting documentation in accordance with ASC 815.
  • Perform and document ongoing quantitative and qualitative hedge effectiveness assessments, partnering with Treasury and other stakeholders as needed.
  • Reconcile derivative valuations, settlements, cash activity, and related balance sheet and income statement accounts to third‑party and Treasury records.
  • Research accounting matters related to derivatives and hedging and prepare supporting documentation for review by the Senior Manager and Director of Treasury Accounting.
  • Prepare supporting schedules and disclosures related to derivatives, hedging activities, and other financial instruments for the company’s 10‑Q and 10‑K filings.
  • Maintain and support SOX controls over derivatives and hedge accounting processes, including control documentation and audit support.
  • Coordinate monthly meetings between Treasury Accounting and Treasury, including scheduling meetings, developing agendas, tracking open items, and following up on action items.
  • Create and maintain quarterly deliverable packages with Treasury to ensure information required for close, financial reporting, controls, and audit support is received timely.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly Treasury Accounting flux analyses and coordinate with team members and stakeholders to understand and document significant period‑over‑period movements.
  • Collaborate with the broader Treasury Accounting team on materials for monthly and quarterly financial close decks and other management reporting.
  • Champion AI initiatives for the Treasury Accounting team by identifying practical opportunities to improve the efficiency and quality of accounting, reporting, documentation, and recurring processes.
  • Support the Treasury Accounting team’s ERP transition, including process design, data validation, testing, implementation activities, and development of scalable post‑implementation workflows.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement, automation, and process optimization initiatives across Treasury Accounting.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors during quarterly reviews and year‑end audits.
  • Support other treasury‑related areas, including debt and OEM financing, as opportunities and business needs arise.
Who You Are
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA and master’s degree strongly preferred.
  • 6+ years of relevant financial accounting and reporting experience.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP; experience with derivative and hedge accounting under ASC 815 preferred but not required.
  • Background in public accounting, with Big Four experience preferred, and/or relevant industry experience.
  • Experience supporting SOX controls and internal or external audit requests.
  • Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with detailed accounting schedules and large data sets.
  • Excellent organizational and time‑management skills, with the ability to manage multiple recurring monthly and quarterly close deadlines.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly explain accounting topics to cross‑functional stakeholders.
  • A proactive, collaborative approach and the ability to coordinate effectively across teams.
  • Comfort working in a fast‑paced, evolving environment where responsibilities may change as the business grows.
