Job summary

CFS, a rapidly growing, privately-held company with over $300 million in annual revenue, is seeking a Treasury Accountant in Middle River, MD. The role offers a hybrid schedule with only 2 days onsite per week and direct exposure to the Controller, VP of Accounting, and CFO.

Responsibilities include cash flow reporting, forecasting, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting month-end/year-end close, audits, and tax filings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3-5+ years of accounting experience.
• Experience with general ledger accounting, treasury, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cash flow reporting.
• Assist with cash forecasting and treasury activities.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash activity.
• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Assist with financial reporting and audit requests.
• Prepare and file multi-state sales and use tax returns.
• Manage excise tax, property tax, and other regulatory filings.
• Support tax audits and compliance requirements.
• Identify and implement process improvements across accounting operations.
