Job summary

Amazon Transportation Risk and Compliance (TRC) is seeking a Transportation Risk Specialist to strengthen our compliance and monitoring programs. The role focuses on identifying inefficiencies, architecting scalable fixes, and delivering data-driven improvements with strong stakeholder management.

You will automate workflows, improve audit activities, and partner with internal teams to meet ambitious goals while maintaining high standards of confidentiality and autonomy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 4+ years of compliance program management, legal, governance, audit, risk/loss prevention, or equivalent experience.
• Experience managing confidential and sensitive employee information and adherence to strict confidentiality standards.
• Experience establishing successful partnerships with internal and external teams to execute tactical initiatives or equivalent.
• Experience in Excel or SQL.
• Experience in program requirements definition, together with data and metrics leveraging to drive improvements.

TRC is looking for a high-judgment individual to join us as a Transportation Risk Specialist, responsible for making our compliance and monitoring programs run better, faster, and smarter, while safeguarding the health of the organization and driving a culture of compliance both internally and externally.

The right candidate is someone who understands compliance and monitoring environments well enough to spot what’s inefficient, and has the technical capability to fix it or architect the fix. The successful candidate will be comfortable inheriting ambiguity, reshaping processes that aren’t working, and building solutions that scale. They will have exceptional attention to detail and strong data-driven and tech mindset and capabilities, but also excellent soft skills for stakeholder management and earning teams' trust. Finally, the successful candidate will display good team spirit and autonomy.

Basic Qualifications

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
