The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of three years' safety experience and OSHA 30-hour construction accreditation. Qualifications

• Strong management, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• At least 3 years of safety experience or education in building construction.
• Working knowledge of safety/environment principles.
• OSHA 30-hour construction accreditation is required.
• OSHA 500 Outreach Trainer is a plus.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office is necessary.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development of the project safety program.
• Conduct jobsite orientation for new project employees.
• Document participation in the orientation program.
• Attend initial meetings to define roles within the safety program.
• Conduct pre-planning safety meetings with subcontractor representatives.
• Facilitate training for site personnel.
• Conduct regular jobsite inspections and safety checklists.
• Record and report violations for corrective actions.
• Investigate incidents and generate reports.
• Conduct monthly safety meetings and attend project staff meetings.
