Job summary

Claiborne Senior Living in Mississippi seeks a clinically strong and people-focused Director of Wellness (DOW) to lead health services within our senior living community. An RN is preferred, with strong leadership experience for LPNs also considered where state rules allow.

The role emphasizes ownership of clinical outcomes, resident safety, and a culture of integrity and accountability, collaborating with executive and regional leaders to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Active RN or LPN license in good standing (state-specific requirements apply)
• Multi-state experience a plus
• Previous leadership experience in senior living, assisted living, or long-term care preferred
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and clinical operations
• Experience supervising and coaching clinical team members
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lead with accountability and professionalism

Responsibilities

• Oversee all clinical services and resident care operations
• Ensure compliance with state-specific regulations and company policies
• Lead Health Services Evaluations (HSEs) and service planning
• Monitor quality indicators, incident trends, and change-of-condition processes
• Supervise and develop LPNs, CNAs, Med Techs, and caregivers
• Manage medication systems, pharmacy partnerships, and documentation standards
• Support family communication and care conferences
• Prepare for and participate in regulatory surveys and quality audits
• Drive a culture of safety, integrity, and clinical excellence
