Job summary

Robinson Construction Company is seeking a skilled Journeyman Welder in Lubbock, Texas. In this role, you will read and interpret plans while performing various welding techniques such as Stick and TIG welding. You will be responsible for field installations and ensuring budgetary integrity.

The ideal candidate will have three or more years of welding experience and possess necessary industrial machine licenses. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, and you must bring your own hand tools to the job site. Safety and effective communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform Shielded Metal Arc Welding and Gas Tungsten Arc Welding.
• Knowledge of materials, methods, and construction or repair of buildings.
• Must possess and bring required hand tools to each job site.

Responsibilities

• Interpret project plans and blueprints to perform tasks.
• Field install welds for duct work, fixtures, vents, and more.
• Conserve resources to ensure client satisfaction.

Education
