Job summary

Brasfield & Gorrie, LLC seeks an experienced traveling Superintendent to lead large-scale utilities projects in water and wastewater markets. This role expects frequent travel across the United States and out-of-town assignments, coordinating field operations with subcontractors and internal teams.

Responsibilities include safety advocacy, scheduling, progress reporting, HR coordination, and overseeing regulatory inspections.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred; minimum of 8 years of relevant utilities construction experience preferred.
• Strong reading and interpretation of architectural and engineering drawings, financial reports and legal documents.
• Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing to top management and external parties.

Responsibilities

• Oversees all field operations on a project and coordinates subcontracted and self-performed work to meet schedule and contract documents.
• Advocates safety as top priority and enforces compliance with standards and policies.
• Supervises and coordinates management of construction projects with owner, designers, and subcontractors.
• Develops construction schedules and sequences to ensure work aligns with contract documents.
• Prepares payroll submissions and HR/payroll documentation in accordance with policies.
• Reviews plans and drawings and resolves issues with stakeholders.
• Recruits and directs onsite field personnel in line with HR processes.
• Manages tool and material procurement to meet project needs and schedule.
• Determines staffing levels and materials for each phase of the project.
• Ensures progress reporting and updates to project schedules; maintains logs and submittal schedules.
• Coordinates and oversees regulatory inspections.
