Job summary

K&M Tire is seeking an Installer to support project teams by installing and modifying warehouse racking and helping launch the new inventory system “WISE.” You will travel to locations, set up layouts, and train staff on charting processes to ensure accurate inventory placement.

The role requires clear communication, strong organization, and a willingness to travel up to multiple weeks at a time. Local travel and site work dominate the routine with a focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Ability to express ideas clearly in writing and verbally.
• Friendly, helpful attitude with coworkers and temps.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Able to multitask in a professional warehouse environment.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install racking according to warehouse layout.
• Disassemble old racking.
• Move and make changes to existing racking.
• Layout and paint truck and farm area according to layout.
• Move product to new racking, according to new layout charting.
• Hang signs and labels.
• Provide training on new charting system to warehouse employees.
• Work with and train temps or other employees assisting the installers.
• Visit and work with locations on special projects.
• Help out where needed to help reach the goals of K&M Tire.
• Work in warehouse when not traveling
