Petco is hiring a Vetco Veterinary Assistant to support our veterinary team across multiple Petco clinic locations. You will meet the team at the dispatch office and travel to assigned clinics, greeting pet parents and guiding them to the most suitable veterinary services.

The role supports veterinarians and helps ensure services are delivered smoothly. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced, pet-centered environment with a positive, can-do attitude.

Qualifications

• Must love dogs and cats and people, and demonstrate empathy with clients.
• Team-oriented and able to support veterinary staff.
• Strong customer service mindset and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to varying clinic locations.

Responsibilities

• Meet the veterinary team at the dispatch office and travel to Petco clinic locations.
• Greet pet parents and recommend veterinary services to protect pets.
• Assist the veterinarian to enable services and thank the pet parents.
• Maintain professionalism and a can-do attitude in dynamic environments.
