CareVet's Traveling DVM program is designed for experienced veterinarians who want flexibility without sacrificing clinical quality, earning potential, or support. Think of it like travel nursing — but for DVMs, built around how you actually want to live.

Pick Your Ideal Rotation

2 weeks on / 2 weeks off — average 20 hours per week
3 weeks on / 1 week off — perfect for those who like longer stretches of work and play.
Both options are available. We'll work around you.

Compensation & Coverage

• Up to $135/hr | Part-time, no benefits
• Up to $100/hr | Full time with benefits
• $2,500 annual CE stipend + CE time paid
• Professional dues and state license fees covered by CareVet
• Flight and hotel covered, per diem for meals

Our traveling DVMs rotate across high-performing, community-rooted hospitals throughout Ohio — from vibrant cities to welcoming small towns.

You’ll experience a variety of practice styles, client bases, and caseloads, all while being supported by a consistent and connected CareVet network.

New locations are added regularly as our footprint continues to grow.
