Job summary
Integrated Health 21 is seeking a Registered Nurse for flu vaccination events and corporate wellness programs. This contractor role requires travel to various sites across Lexington, KY, and surrounding areas, administering vaccines and educating participants.
You will follow standing orders, monitor for adverse reactions, maintain cold chain records, and uphold safety protocols. Exceptional communication with clients and teammates is essential.
Qualifications
- Maintain and present current nursing license in good standing.
- Maintain and present current BLS certification.
- Demonstrate professionalism and ability to communicate effectively with corporate clients.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and self-directed environment.
- Willingness to travel between locations as needed.
Responsibilities
- Accept delivered packages and ensure inventory is accounted for.
- Practice proper storage and handling of vaccines; document refrigeration details.
- Greet participants and guide them through the vaccination process.
- Draw up and administer vaccines per standing orders; observe for adverse reactions.
- Adhere to safety protocols and medical directives; respond to emergencies including CPR.
- Participate in annual training and compliance testing to maintain status.
- Demonstrate outstanding customer service and communication.
