Job summary

MRG Exams is seeking a Licensed Psychologist (Ph.D. or Psy.D) to perform disability assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA process. The role is in-person, involves reviewing records, completing DBQs, and performing assessments with independence as a contractor.

The psychologist will travel nationwide, with two weeks travel per month, and will not provide treatment or prescribe medications. APA-accredited education and active license required.

Qualifications

• Licensed psychologist with Ph.D. or Psy.D from an APA-accredited program.
• Active, unrestricted psychology license.
• Multiple state licenses preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Malpractice insurance covered by MRG Exams.

Responsibilities

• Perform disability assessments on United States Veterans.
• Review behavioral health records electronically and complete DBQs.
• Complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through the Web Portal.
• The role does not involve disability determinations, treatment, or prescribing medications.
• Work as an Independent Contractor.
• Review and assess an average of 4 Veterans per day.
