Job summary
Capital Tower & Communications, Inc. is seeking a Traveling Telecommunications Tower Technician to join our team. This role is built for hands-on technicians who enjoy heights, travel, and solving technical challenges on wireless towers across the US.
You will climb towers up to 300 feet, install and repair antenna systems, read site plans, and work with teammates to keep systems safe and reliable. We provide comprehensive training, competitive pay, and a 6-week on/7–10 day off rotation plus
Qualifications
- You are physically able to climb to heights daily (>300 ft).
- You can work in all weather conditions year-round.
- You have some construction and/or electrical experience.
- You enjoy working with your hands.
- You are willing to travel extensively with 6-week rotations and 7–10 day breaks; travel expenses covered.
Responsibilities
- Follow all safety rules and regulations.
- Install/replace/repair antenna system equipment.
- Distribute/pick-up/organize tools and materials.
- Install/modify/mount & platform.
- Identify/fix problems using test equipment.
- Work with a team.
- Perform tower structure inspection.
