Job summary

Responsibilities include tool handling, material management, site safety and traffic control, and collaboration with crew leads to ensure efficient project execution. This role requires a high school diploma, safety training, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic construction safety training preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Assist aerial or underground crews with equipment setup, operation, and maintenance.
• Load, unload, and organize construction materials and tools at job sites.
• Operate basic construction tools and equipment according to established procedures.
• Set up and maintain safety perimeters and traffic control measures.
• Assist with digging, trenching, and other ground preparation tasks.
• Support pole setting and aerial line work from the ground.
• Maintain safety protocols and proper use of PPE.
• Communicate with crew leads regarding task completion and challenges.
• Keep work sites clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance on tools and equipment.
• Document material usage and basic work activities as directed.
