This role will oversee installation, coordination, quality, safety, progress tracking, startup readiness, and commissioning support from mobilization through turnover. The ideal candidate is a practical field leader who can direct crews, read and interpret controls and electrical documents, coordinate effectively with the project team and other trades, and troubleshoot issues until the work is complete. • Document field conditions, develop clear questions and RFIs, and help drive timely resolutions with engineering, vendors, and project leadership.
  • Track installation progress using drawing markups, daily reports, look-ahead planning, quantities, punch lists, and other project documentation.
  • Support installation and verification of conduit, cable, panels, sensors, actuators, control devices, network infrastructure, terminations, and related equipment.
  • Coordinate point-to-point checks, device verification, loop checks, startup activities, controls troubleshooting, and commissioning readiness.
  • Help plan and execute safe energization activities, including lockout/tagout, PPE requirements, access control, trade coordination, and communication of impacts to the project team.
  • Isolate and troubleshoot issues across controls, electrical installation, mechanical equipment, sequences, communications, and field devices; elevate appropriately when engineering or vendor support is required.
  • Maintain accurate as-built information, inspection records, testing documentation, turnover materials, and closeout deliverables.
  • Promote a safety-first culture, enforce site requirements, and ensure work is performed in accordance with project documents, manufacturer recommendations, applicable codes, and company expectations.
  • Communicate schedule risks, material needs, manpower concerns, quality issues, and field progress clearly and proactively.
  • Travel primarily within the assigned region and support occasional extended stays or weekend work when required by project milestones.
