Job summary

Atec, Inc is seeking experienced field construction professionals to support USAF Noise Suppressors, including Engine Test Cells and Hush Houses. This position involves full-time travel for work on military installations across the United States and potentially overseas.

Key responsibilities include welding, fabricating, and installing structural steel and metal systems. Candidates must have 2–5+ years of welding or ironworking experience and be able to work in physically demanding environments.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of welding or ironworking experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints is essential.
• Experience with structural steel is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural welding primarily on 7018 carbon steel.
• Fabricate and install structural steel and metal systems.
• Operate various tools and ensure precision in work.
